That guitarist SETH GIBSON, at age 19, is already a top choice as “on-call player” among many of the Prescott music scene’s most popular bands is testament to his phenomenal talent in covering everything from rock ‘n roll to jazz and blues to country. Seth’s foray into music began in 6th grade with alto sax. The next year he picked up a guitar - and before long he’d found his niche. When not in classes at Yavapai College, he’s equally comfortable on electric or acoustic, ripping out a tasty lead or playing rythym. And Seth’s preferred guitar? A Gibson, of course!

Some people are born musicians: Listen to multitalented vocalist LARRY HEALEY and it’s obvious. Larry’s musician dad taught him to sing before he could walk! With a natural ear for music, the young singer soon added drums and piano to his repertoire. A lefty, Larry first played guitar and bass upside-down, later acquiring the left-handed version of both instruments. “By 12, I knew I’d play music for a living,” says Larry. In Prescott since 1981, he’s founded several bands, including Little Larry and the Drive, a local favorite. He’s played bass with The Coasters, and opened for numerous artists, including The Guess Who and The Byrds.

Keyboardist/ bassist LARRY LEE started tickling the ivories at age 4, starting with the “Mickey Mouse” song on his mother’s piano. His instinctual ear made learning to play a breeze, and by 18 he was on tour with the band Hawkeye. Larry played with several renowned Los Angeles bands, including Hanko and the Boomers (formerly Cannibal and the Headhunters), and taped an HBO special there that featured Carlos Santana. He settled in Prescott in 1995, joining Truly Reckless in 1997. A seven-year stint with Instant Replay included opening for national acts, among them Three Dog Night and Journey. Currently he’s with Karma, another of Prescott’s popular bands.
